Tom van Menzing was born and raised in Munich, Germany. An advertising man by vocation, and an avid traveler by inclination, he has visited five dozen countries and lived in six. His fiction is inspired by these territories’ history. It forms the realistic backdrop to the vain pursuits of deeply flawed characters. Not always does their quest end happily.
